Chemistry comes to our aid when we talk about wellness of our body and soul, the sailboat offers a wide range of positive dynamics for both.
It is well known that the blue colour has beneficial influences on our mind and it has the ability to relax bringing balance within the emotional sphere. Blue is the symbol of communication through creativity. During sailing this is the prevailing colour.
Thinking about warm colour tones from yellow to orange, we speak about energy, expansiveness, the search for the new, changes, self-confidence, artistic and sexual creativity, both intellectual and nervous knowledge. And thinking about these colours, sun, sunrise or sunset come to our minds.
Being in the middle of the sea, moored in a natural harbor waiting for the sunset (the most beautiful moment of the day) is the best condition. From a psychological point of view there are not many reasons to explain why these factors have a positive influence on our mind.
Trying to be more technical, however, we can say that all different blue shades help to treat stress, anxiety and tension. That's why after a couple of days on board we start loosing our connection with our everydays city’s life ... 😉 Blue also has antiseptic properties and is used to treat the symptoms of sore throat, hoarseness, fever, spasms and rheumatism.
While, warmer shades stimulate digestion by eliminating toxins from the liver and bowel.
Orange is used in colour therapy for bone stiffening and the regeneration of nervous tissues, recharging those who are tired, stimulating deep breathing. Who has never heard a grandmother’s story about sandblasting… under the sea sand in August?
Speaking about the sea, beyond its benefits related to the presence of sodium, magnesium, iodine and potassium, all positive factors related to colours and therefore thanks to a good mood , the development of serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin and endorphins confirm this theory.
Neurotransmitters lead to fun, positive and healthy life, even if everydays life leads us to think differently.
All these factors combined together, become an explosive cocktail and facing the sea everything is more beautiful and natural: the hair, the skin, the look, the mood ... It is well known that the iodine-rich air (iodized salt pulverized with sea water) stimulates the metabolism resulting in a faster growth of nails and hair.
After a few days, we feel better, stronger, more beautiful and relaxed. Whether it is true or not, everyone is free to have his own opinion, several scientific studies confirm the beneficial effects of the sea and this is what comes from sailing.
Just talking about the sea, sun and holidays is positive and when we jump on a boat and leave the ground ... this new point of view ... is absolutely correct and in a certain way vital and needed.
Sailing Boat ... it's another way of living and seeing life. And if you like living ... in front of the sea, reaching happiness is very easy.
See you on Wendy to be enriched with health and happiness.
Have a good wind
